Welcome to Wandering Moon Creative, where we believe in the power of personal transformation, sustainable witchcraft, and creating meaningful, reciprocal relationships with the Earth and each other. Founded by a queer woman and dedicated to protecting the Earth, our mission is to provide witches and spiritual beings with the tools and support they need to develop their own unique practices while honoring the planet that sustains us all.

At Wandering Moon Creative, we’re here to help you build a practice that is aligned with your values, cultural practices and personal spiritual path. Whether you’re a seasoned witch or just beginning your journey, we offer thoughtfully curated sustainable altar tools. Each item we sell, from vintage altar tools to hand-poured spell candles, is chosen with care to help you deepen your connection to the elements, the cycles of nature, and the magic that exists all around us. 

We believe in ethical practices that honor the Earth and all of its inhabitants, which is why we prioritize sustainability and reciprocity in everything we do. By sourcing vintage and second-hand items, we reduce our environmental footprint and give new life to beautiful, one-of-a-kind treasures that you can incorporate into your practice.

We stand-by and respect the traditions and cultures from which spiritual practices and sacred tools originate and to which we do not belong. Closed practices, such as those tied to Indigenous cultures here in the U.S., hold deep spiritual significance. For this reason, we do not sell items like white sage or palo santo, as their use has become commercialized and appropriated in ways that harm and disrespect the communities that have traditionally used them for healing. This commercialization has also harmed the land through over production and disruptive farming practices. We are committed to offering tools and practices that are respectful of cultural heritage, and aligned with the values of reciprocity and respect.

Our work doesn’t end with the tools—we also offer ritual events and forest bathing events to help you reconnect with the Earth in a deeper way. These events are designed to cultivate mindfulness, encourage reciprocity with the land and the collective, and empower you to listen to the wisdom of nature as you develop your own spiritual practice.

A Journey of Healing and Self-Discovery

I, Hanna Foster, began this journey in 2020, during the pandemic, when I rediscovered my path as a witch. Having always been deeply connected to nature, I felt the call to explore witchcraft. As a health and wellness professional, I had spent years in the traditional healthcare system, but I grew disillusioned with the modern beliefs and practices of diet culture and the way the industry and our healthcare system treated the body as a mere machine to be fixed, rather than a whole being to be nurtured. I decided to break free from that model and embrace a holistic, nature-based approach to healing.

In my search for deeper connection, I began studying herbalism and forest bathing. In May of 2024 I started my training with the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy and will soon be a certified forest therapy guide. I now lead forest bathing walks and virtual ritual programs, helping others tap into the healing power of nature, silence the noise of modern life, and find peace and power within.
